The Ebrahim haji Ithna Asheri Charitable Health Centre is open to all the members of the general public. It is registered with Ministry of Health as Health centre under section 9 of the Private health centres(Regulation) Act number 6 of the 1977 as amended by act number 26 of 1991) under registration number 072008 of 8th September, 1997. It is a non profit making and charitable health centre.
The health centre is situated along Asia Street, Plot number 1411/75, Kisutu ward, Illala District.
The health centre functions within the framework of the Khoja Shia Ithna Asheri Jamaat, which is again a non-profit making organization, a religious body, registered under the Societies registration Rules, 1954, on 6th August, 1955 .
The building housing of the health centre was originally donated by the Late Ebrahim haji for the purpose of Dispensary.
